What should I wear for my Infrared Sauna Blanket session?

We recommend wearing comfortable long sleeves, long pants, and socks while in the blanket. 

What is the blanket made of?

Our blankets are made of high-grade, non-toxic and water-resistant polyurethane. The product's non-toxicity has had stringent testing.

What are the measurements of the blanket?

The large infrared blanket is 71" by 71" unfolded, with a maximum interior circumference of 65". Customers who are up to 6' can fit into the larger blanket. The regular infrared blanket is 62” by 70” unfolded. Customers who are up to 5’10” inches can fit into the regular size blanket.

What temperature does the blanket reach?

The blanket reaches up to 176 degrees Fahrenheit. However, there are other ways to measure the temperature, such as inside air, and interior surface.

How should I clean the blanket?

Keep a dry towel handy to absorb any sweat left behind after each session. We recommend also using a nontoxic disinfectant wipe or spray to sanitize the blanket. Keep the blanket open to dry and cool down completely before folding and packing away.

How should I store my blanket?

PLEASE make sure that the blanket has cooled down completely before folding. Close the blanket. Make sure that it is flat and smooth. Fold the blanket in half lengthwise from left to right. Then fold the blanket in thirds from top to bottom. We recommend storing the blanket in a cool, dry area.

Is the sauna blanket low EMF?

Yes! Our sauna blanket has very low EMF. Almost non-detectable. Nothing to worry about here. The benefits of your sauna session completely outweigh any EMF risk. Every room in your house generates EMF on some level: the power outlets, lighting fixtures, and fans.

Why are some of the lights not working?

They are lit up, you just can’t see them. We use red 660 nm and near-infrared (NIR) 850 nm. Unlike red light, near-infrared light is nearly invisible to the naked eye. When running both wavelengths at the same time, the near-infrared LEDs may appear off. This is due to the contrast of the red and near-infrared. Be assured the LEDs are working and delivering a powerful dose of 850 nm.

Do I need to wear protective eyewear?

Protective eyewear is included with the Mini, but it isn’t necessary. We don't recommend looking directly at the LEDs initially, as it can be uncomfortable until your eyes are accustomed to the light. For this reason, we recommend closing your eyes until you find that it’s comfortable to open them. It all depends on how sensitive your eyes are to the light.

What is the difference between Red and Near-Infrared Light?

Red light is delivered at 660nm. It is readily absorbed by surface tissues and cells, leading to enhanced skin healing.

Near-infrared Light (NIR) is delivered at 850nm. It is invisible to the human eye, and penetrates deeper into the tissues, leading to enhanced recovery and inflammation support.

What are the contraindications and warnings?

Do not use this during the healing period after Lasik eye surgery.
Do not use the device if you are photosensitive.
Do not use the device if using topical, oral, or injectable steroids.
Do not use the device if pregnant or lactating. Users should consult their physician with any questions.

Near Infrared (NIR) at 850 nm may aid hyper-pigmentation. Discontinue use if this is a concern. Post-surgery users should consult a physician prior to use.
Users who have had laser hair removal could experience hair regrowth.
Users with cancer or history of cancer should consult their physician prior to use.

Users with pre-existing health conditions should consult their physician prior to use.
Users with hyperthyroidism should consult with their physician prior to use, as use could increase symptoms.
Users with black pigmented tattoos could experience skin blistering. Blistering can occur by inadvertent heating of the iron oxides and/or the metal salts in the tattoo’s black pigment. Tattoo locations can be covered prior to your treatment.
Users with herpes virus could experience activation of dormant virus with use.
Users taking medications such as Tetracycline, Digoxin, Retin A, and/or other photosensitive drugs, are recommended to consult with your healthcare provider prior to use.
Users with a history of facial fillers and Botox injections should consult their dermatologist prior to use.
Users with breast implants should consult their plastic surgeon prior to use.

Why isn't my device turning on?

You need to be unplugged from the power outlet for the device to turn on. It's a safety feature for this device. Once your battery is low, just plug back in and recharge.

How do I wash my brush?

Fill a bowl of water and add a gentle soap or a couple drops of tea tree oil. Put the brush with bristles down and swirl around. Make sure not to cover the wood. Rinse off and pat dry with a towel. Make sure to air dry.

How often can I dry brush?

We recommend dry brushing at least 3 times a week in the morning before showering.

Can I keep my dry brush in the shower?

It is not recommended to get the wood on your dry brush wet continuously. If you do get it wet, be sure and dry it off as soon as possible. It is natural wood and will deteriorate with daily wetness.

Can I use this serum every day?

Yes! You can use this serum morning and night. It has no harsh ingredients whatsoever. If you use the serum in the morning, wait about 5 minutes before you apply your make-up to let it sink into your skin. 

How long does it take to see results?

Some customers see results, such as softer and more hydrated skin, within a few days. 

Is it safe for me to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding?

What is your shipping policy?

We either ship from Wisconsin or an Amazon fulfillment center. You should expect your order to be received within 3-7 business days of your purchase when using standard shipping options.
